Every treatment with me begins with a consultation to discuss what results you’d like to achieve, any concerns you might have, and a bit about your medical history. There’s a $100 consultation fee, which can be applied to the cost of your treatment if you decide to move ahead. Once we’ve decided on the best treatment plan for you, I’ll give you an estimate of how much product will be needed and the approximate cost of your treatment. 

Before any actual injecting can happen I’ll clean the treatment area to ensure everything is sterile. If you’re concerned about discomfort or if we’re treating a more sensitive area, I’ll apply a numbing cream at this time. Next, I’ll map out your injection points using a skin-safe pencil crayon (and probably ask you to make some funny faces in the process). 

Then comes the injection itself, which is usually the quickest part of the whole appointment! If you do have any anxiety surrounding needles, please let me know in advance and there are ways I can help. 

Afterward, it’s normal to have some mild swelling or redness, but it should fade quickly. I’ll provide you with  aftercare instructions (and an ice pack if needed!) before you leave. We may also schedule a follow-up appointment at this time to check in on your results and make any adjustments if needed. Please note, I typically recommend waiting at least 14 days after your initial injections to let the product settle properly.

How much is filler in Courtenay, BC? 

The cost of dermal fillers in Courtenay and Comox Valley in general, varies greatly. I personally trust and use Revanesse®, which is 1.2 ml per syringe opposed to the standard 1.0 ml per syringe.
