IPL will clear, detoxify, and rejuvenate your skin, treating your imperfections using selective photothermolysis. Lumecca can be used on all areas of the body. The most common areas of treatment are zones regularly exposed to the sun. This often includes the face, neck, decolletage, legs, hands and arms.

F.A.Q

  • Results will be noticeable after 1-2 sessions, some people continue with 5-6 sessions depending on severity of damage and desired result. For pigmentation, 1-3 treatments is generally sufficient, though we recommend maintenance treatments. For diffuse redness (rosacea) or blood vessels, it may take 2-5 treatments for optimal results.

    • Most people who receive Lumecca do so without any side effects.

    • Absolutely no tanning for 4 weeks prior to treatment. This includes sun, tanning beds, sprays and self-tanners.

    • Stop all Retin-A, retinol, glycolics, bleaching creams and exfoliants 3 days prior to treatment.

    • On treatment day, please arrive with clean skin, no lotions, creams or makeup.

    • Post treatment, avoid direct, or excessive sun exposure or tanning.

    • Following your treatment, we recommend avoiding hot tubs, whirlpools, saunas, or excessive sweating for 24-48 hours.

    • Pregnant or nursing

    • Under 18 years

    • Have an impaired immune system

    • Have a history of skin disorders

    • Have poorly controlled endocrine disorders

    • Have used Accutane within six months prior to treatment
